I was reading on another site....

A new, informal poll shows that more Brits believe in ghosts than in God. The survey of over 2000 people found that only 55% believed in a god, whilst 68% believe that ghosts are real. Of those who believed in ghosts, a massive 12% believe that they have actually seen one. No figures were given for the number of people who believe they've actually seen a god.

What do you think?

I think seeing is believing so therefore i have seen a ghost but not god. I believe in ghosts but i`m not so sure about god. I suppose there must be, but if there was a god why does he let so many living things suffer and why is the world going the way it is?

well christians will tell you that it is man's fault for the bad things going on in the world not gods...

there reasoning for this is such...

god created adam and eve and everything was perfect....he created them with free will......they chose to sin against him.......from that moment the world was spoilt......weeds started to grow and earthquakes came......it wasn't how god intended it to be but it was the consequence of adam and eves actions.....and it's been that way ever since......

my thinking would be well if he's god he would have known that was going to happen and he would have known we would all suffer as a consequence so really it is still his doing....

but in case i start a thread war about religeon i'll stop there lol

I have always believed there were ghosts right from when I was young but had no reason to be so sure of this as I had never seen one or even experienced a spirit. I have since seen all the proof I need and know that my instincts were right.

I feel the same way about god or a higher being. Its funny you know, but seeing the proof of the afterlife has now justified my belief in god or a higher being. Now I know that there is some higher being at the top of all this.

I dont mean this to sound too religious as I am not that way inclined. Its just that one thing is leading to another.

I believe in both God and Ghosts. There are too many witnesses to Ghosts for it to be all imagination.Besides my daughter (when she was younger) often talked to people in my kitchen that wernt there.she still predicts who is calling to visit me sometimes and other stuff and when i asked her why she thinks for eg my mum will call today - she says her friend told her.She spooks me out sometimes lol but shes not afraid . Personally i have never seen a ghost and i would hope that if i did i wouldnt be afraid lol .

whilst there will always be debates about God and if he/she exsists, one fact remains which no one can deny and that is, someone from a super higher intelligence made a complex body and brain for us that even the most advanced human couldnt do, to me this represents God, i have also had a near death experience where i was met by beautiful beings of light which i could only describe as Gods angels and i have also seen ghosts, maybe im lucky to know the two.

I have not seen ghost ever but as far as god is concern, I have just felt the power of god. I believe in god's power. God is a feeling, which can be been, however god is unseen but we can feel the power of god by our soul, though spiritual guidance is a wonderful way to connect with god.
